Tankless Water Heaters

There are certain issues that come up all the time with toilets. Some fixes are easier than others, but they can all be fixed! If your toilet is suffering from any of the symptoms below, check out these quick fixes or give us a call at 509-662-6622.

Gas-Powered Tankless Water Heaters

Gas-powered tankless water heaters are typically fueled by propane or natural gas. Gas-powered tankless heaters need to be vented to the outside air and they may require a larger gas line. One of our fully licensed technicians can assess your present situation to see if a gas-powered tankless heater would be feasible for your home. If you are considering a gas unit, it’s going to mean an expensive install if your home does not already have an existing gas supply. If it doesn’t, electric may be the way to go.

Electric Tankless Water Heaters

Tankless electric water heaters heat the water with an electrical element (like a large, high-tech kettle). A tankless electric water heater needs to be hardwired to the circuit breaker/electrical panel. Tankless electric water heaters do not need to be vented, which makes them less expensive to install. The only downside is that they may output fewer GPM (gallons per minute) than tankless gas units. Large electric units can provide endless hot water for up to two major applications, which is sufficient capacity for most homes, but if your needs exceed this your Allied plumber can introduce you to other options that may suit you better.

Pros of Tankless Water Heaters

  • Hot water on demand
  • Zero greenhouse gases on electric models
  • Tankless systems don’t waste energy on standby heating
  • Last up to ten years longer than a conventional tank heater
  • Space-saving
